What You’ll Do:

  • Lead all aspects of the J-1 Intern and Trainee Programs at IENA
  • Review and approve participant applications, host sites, and training plans
  • Provide guidance and support to international participants throughout their program journey
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. Department of State regulations and SEVIS reporting
  • Build strong relationships with applicants, partners, and stakeholders
  • Coordinate site visits and deliver pre-departure and arrival orientations
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver a smooth, high-quality program experience

What You Bring:

  • 6+ years of experience in international exchange, study abroad, or cultural programs
  • Strong working knowledge of J-1 visa regulations and SEVIS reporting
  • Excellent communication, cultural sensitivity, and organizational skills
  • Experience working or studying overseas (preferred)
  • Experience in arranging placements directly with employers (this is a great bonus to us)
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and live-in the U.S.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range of $70K-$80K (based on experience)
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Retirement plan with company contributions
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Flexible, remote work (U.S.-based)
  • A supportive, mission-driven team culture
