If you are coming to US on the J1 Summer Work and Travel visa you will need to fill out your Proof of Student Status. This document is extremely important as it must fit the Department of State Guidelines. To make sure you fill it out correctly, I have listed a few notes for you to remember.
- You need to be a full-time undergraduate or post-graduate student.
- Your summer break needs to cover the time you are at camp. If you get a camp contract that goes over those dates either before or after your break, then you need to get a new camp contract to fit into those dates.
- It needs to be signed, dated and have the school seal on it to be valid.
If your school will not fill out your form please use the one we give you as a guideline to provide us with all of that information we need. We will accept multiple documents to provide us with all necessary information.
