Well, its about time we got some good news in the world of camp and cultural exchange!!
Judge White, a Federal District Court Judge in Northern CA issued a preliminary injunction enjoining enforcement of the President’s Proclamation regarding J-1’s and other non immigrant visa categories. It has already started to get news coverage.

The partial injunction is limited to the plaintiffs and its members. As a member of the US Chamber of Commerce, IENA are included in this ruling.
The ruling essentially halts the current temporary suspension of J-1 programs. It also orders the government to “Immediately” begin processing applications and issuing visas in the J-1 category.
We are unsure how the White House will respond to this.
