Aoraki Mount Cook is New Zealand’s highest and most beautiful mountain with a whopping height of 3,754 meters. A small village sits at the bottom of the mountain, a retreat in one of the most beautiful parts of NZ, surrounded by the Southern Alps in every direction. This area is known for the dramatic storms that can arrive in the push of a button due to the mountain only being 44km from the Tasman Sea. There are various alpine walks, tours, flight seeing and star gazing to occupy your time while you visit.
