IENA is currently seeking a seasonal part-time administrative assistant at its Hackettstown, New Jersey headquarters. This position provides administrative support for our J1 Camp Counselor and Summer Work Travel programs. From January to June, you would have the opportunity to assist our amazing (and at times crazy!) team to provide stellar customer service to thousands of students applying for our program from all over the world! Obviously, with thousands of students to serve, you would be expected to multitask competently with a “work until it’s done” attitude.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- • Review applications on J-1 Camp Program
• Provide direct customer service for all inbound calls
• Pack and ship FedEx packages
• Create FedEx Labels
• Other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
- • High School Diploma
• Strong Degree of Initiative
• Strong Organization Skills
• Strong Customer Service Skills (phone, email, etc.)
• Detail Oriented
• Flexible to changing priorities and with multi-tasking
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with a concentration in Excel
Salary:
- $15 per hour, Approx 30 hours a week
Physical Demands:
- Lifting: 0-25 lbs
- Frequency of lifting: infrequent
Visual, Hearing, Dexterity & Mental Demands:
Adequate to perform the essential functions of the job, such as using a telephone, answering emails, filing paperwork, viewing a computer screen, and operating office equipment and driving.
Working conditions:
The duties and responsibilities are performed in an office environment but may require drop-off of envelopes to the nearby FedEx facility. The position generally involves frequent standing; continuous sitting; frequent walking; light to moderate lifting; light carrying; frequent bending and reaching; keyboarding and telephone operation; in-person communication.

Company owners are directly involved with the applicants and visit during the summer. In addition to providing International students the opportunity to work at thousands of hotel, restaurant and retail sites in culture rich tourist areas, to date, IENA has helped over 80,000 participants learn and share with American children at over 500 summer camps, across the USA. IENA is designated as a J-1 Visa sponsor by the US Department of State. This means we are not a third party agent. We are the responsible body for the program and our participants.
