Want to help your SWT application speed through IENA’s evaluation? Here are tips for the sections of our online application that cause the most delays:
Work experience: if you worked before, we want to know about it! Enter in the details here so we can review your prior work history.
Program participation questionnaire: Answer this section in full sentences. We want to know whether you can write in English and learn more about you and your program expectations. If you answer this section with short, one word answers, we will return your application to your recruiter until it’s fully complete.
Reference: The reference must be from a teacher, professor, or manager/supervisor. A reference from your neighbor, friend, or colleague doesn’t count. Please also ask your reference to write enough information about you to confirm they know you well. A short reference with one word answers is not a positive reflection of your suitability for the program!
Insurance information: At a minimum, your insurance needs to start the day you arrive to the US and end the day after you leave.
Job agreement start/end date: Your job agreement start and end date must be within your official university holiday period. If we see otherwise, we will return your application to the recruiter to ensure both you and the employer are aware of your permitted dates.
Your application is your opportunity to shine! The more enthusiastic and thorough you are with your application, the more likely we are to quickly approve it.
