Last month, IENA enjoyed a visit from YMCA Camp Bernie!
In July, Camp Bernie hosted a session for their campers called “Future World Leaders.” This session was created by Camp Bernie to encourage campers to think globally, and learn about different cultures, customs, traditions, and economics around the world.
The campers attending this session (and their IENA international staff!) visited the IENA office to learn about our organization, the J1 Visa, and how a small company operates on a global scale.
IENA had a great discussion with the Camp Bernie campers and staff about the importance of the J1 Visa and cultural exchange programs. We discussed the positive impacts of this program on the campers, and the international staff shared their personal experience with the J1 Visa.
Thank you to YMCA Camp Bernie for visiting the IENA office and sharing in a wonderful and productive discussion with us about the positive impact of cultural exchange!
