Why should I consider buying this?

As stated in the IENA Terms & Conditions, our program fees are non-refundable.  If you would like additional protection for your trip, this Extended Travel Insurance will cover many of your expenses, including agency, travel change fees quarantine fees, etc. Please refer to the Policy for more detailed information – Policy Info

What is not covered?

Sevis Fees, Fees paid to U.S. Embassy or the US Government, Fees associated with a visa denial and Fees paid for participation in this program should there be any border closures before you travel. In addition, this policy will not cover any claim, loss, injury, damage or legal liability suffered or sustained directly or indirectly by you if you travel to or through a country    where such travel is prohibited by an Executive Order of the U.S Government, a Travel Warning has been issued by the US Department of State; or participate in certain prohibited activities. What is the difference between TRIP CANCELLATION, TRIP DELAY and TRIP INTERRUPTION?

Trip Cancellation provides coverage for certain expenses if your trip is cancelled for a covered reason before you depart. Trip Delay provides coverage for certain expenses if any part of your trip is delayed for covered reasons once you depart for the US or on your way home. Trip Interruption provides coverage for certain expenses for a covered reason if you need to interrupt your trip and return home (this includes conditions related to Covid once you arrive in the US). If I have to make a claim, how much of my expenses will the Insurance Company will reimburse me?

The Insurance Company will reimburse you up to a maximum of $4500.00 if you are prevented from taking your Trip, or it is Delayed or Interrupted for any of the covered reasons that take place after the Effective Date. Please refer to the Policy for more detailed information – Policy Info

If I need to, how do I make a claim?

If you need to make a claim for a covered reason, you must do so within three days of the covered event, by completing a claim form – Claim Form.
