International Exchange of North America (IENA), a world leader in cultural exchange, was established in 1995 by Jim Buck and Anna Crew, two pioneers in international cultural exchange, to arrange reciprocal international work exchange programs to and from the USA. Based in the USA, we are mission driven, high quality and affordable provider of International programs throughout the world.

IENA’s current leadership is now continue this tradition.  It was important to Jim and Anna that the flame be passed on to individuals who share their passion and belief in the J-1 program and it’s goals.  We are honored to be part or IENA’s history.

Jim and Anna still serve as advisers to the management team of IENA and are still involved with the organization.  With the wealth of knowledge and experience they have acquired, they continue to act as our guidance.

It is our mission to empower people around the world to connect with each other through programs that promote cultural exchange and understanding.

We pride ourselves in going the extra mile to find the perfect match for each participant and business that we work with and the service and support we provide to our participants, Partners and employers. Our staff and directors are always available to assist and provide practical advice based on 35+ years of experience with more than a quarter of a million participants. There are many other programs, but no one matches our support services or the experience of our team.

Our programs include, Summer Camp Program, Work & Travel Program, Australia/New Zealand 12 Month Work & Travel Program, and our Outbound Programs; Work & Travel Canada, Work & Travel Australia, Work & Travel New Zealand, Intern in Colombia and Teach English in Thailand.
