How to Apply
Please email outbound@iena.org for an application and instructions. After completing the application please return the completed application and documents listed below via email to outbound@iena.org
1. Local police background check (does not need to be an FBI check).
2. A copy of your passport bio page (the page with your photo and passport details).
3. Your resume detailing your education and previous work experience.
4. One digital photo, head and shoulders shot (approximately 2” by 2”).
5. Pay the non-refundable program application fee $50.
PROGRAM COSTS:
Program fees: $0
Application fee: $50 (non-refundable)
Deposit: $100 (to secure your place on the program), paid at the time of program acceptance and refunded in full upon completion of your program.
OTHER COSTS TO CONSIDER:
Flights (reimbursed up to 12000 RMB towards your flight by your host family after program completion)
Visa fees – Approximately US$140 (reimbursed by your host family after program completion)
Criminal background check
Support funds/spending money
CANCELLATION FEES:
The program application fee is non-refundable.
If you cancel after program acceptance, the program deposit of $100 will not be refunded.
If you interrupt or end your program early you forfeit the program deposit and will forego reimbursement for the visa fee and flight.
In all cases cancellation must be received in writing and is only effective from the date we receive it. Remember also that separate cancellation fees and conditions will undoubtedly apply to any flight bookings you make.
